Overview
Nestled along the waterfront of Siesta Key, this project created a true pickleball paradise. Courtworks transformed an underutilized tennis court into two premium pickleball courts that honor the game and pay tribute to family and legacy.
Project Background
The residence features a guesthouse, half football field, beach volleyball court, pool, jacuzzi, and cold plunge. As the owner's passion shifted from tennis to pickleball after two years of heavy play, the unused tennis court became the ideal canvas for a dedicated pickleball space.
Challenges and Transformation
Temporary pickleball lines over a tennis surface created a confusing experience and undermined the flow of play.
Two low-end net systems—since damaged during a hurricane—left scars on the surface and were inadequate for serious play.
Storm damage required repairs, particularly where unstable nets had caused deterioration.
We repaired the storm-damaged surface and reimagined the space as a top-tier facility. Two new courts were designed and constructed with colors matching the Gail Baird Foundation—a heartfelt tribute to the client's late mother.
A Pickleball Paradise
Durable surfacing ensures long-lasting performance in both play and weather.
Custom design and vibrant colors honor the Gail Baird Foundation for a meaningful, visually striking space.
Professional net systems provide stability and reliability for a superior experience.
Beyond the Courts
This transformation is more than construction—it's the realization of a dream. The owner now enjoys dedicated, frustration-free play that integrates seamlessly with the home's broader recreational amenities.
A Tribute to Passion and Family
The project showcases Courtworks' ability to blend functionality, aesthetics, and personal legacy, creating a space that celebrates the sport and honors family.
